Welcome
From 08:30 on the first day, from 9:00 on subsequent days, and until 17:00. Please provide a picnic lunch, which can be reheated in the microwave. Please inform us of any allergies or medications your child may have.
Outfits
BALLET: Tights, leotard (or T-shirt for boys), half-points and bun for girls.
JAZZ, CONTEMPORARY, SINGING: Legging/shorts, T-shirt, socks.
STREET, HIP-HOP: Clean, non-marking sneakers.
Conditions
Registration required for the full week. The school reserves the right to modify the workshop. Missed classes are non-refundable. Any workshop started is due in full, except on presentation of a medical certificate, in which case missed classes will be carried over to another class.

Professor at the Ecole nationale de Danse de Marseille. Invited to take part in various training workshops, including L’académie internationale de Biarritz, the R.Highthower School of Dance in Cannes-Mougins, the Grand Stage de Paris under the direction of Andrey Klemm, a training workshop at the Conservatoire national supérieur de danse in Madrid, and the AFMDC training workshop in Nanterre.

Registrations can only be made online at dancearea.ch and are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Payment of 50% of the workshop fee is required for confirmation. The balance must be paid no later than 15 days before the start of the workshop. For pre-professional workshops, students from outside the school are asked to enclose a passport photo and a photo of themselves in dance attire with their registration.
For payment of the deposit and the balance of the workshop, an invoice will be sent to you by email. Without payment of the deposit, registration will not be accepted.
As the number of students per class is limited, it is compulsory to choose your classes in order to register. Any change of class or level is only possible on the 1st day of the workshop, subject to availability. For the pre-professional workshop, professors reserve the right to change students’ class levels. The school reserves the right to cancel a class or modify the workshop schedule.
Missed classes are non-refundable. Any workshop started is due in full unless a medical certificate is presented, in which case missed classes will be carried over to another class.
Unless otherwise specified, the management reserves the right to use images photographed or filmed during the classes for communication purposes.
The reduced fee applies :
- to Dance Area students
- to members of the same family
- groups of schoolchildren who register for at least three lessons a day (minimum 6 people to form a group, registrations must be sent to us together).
In the event of cancellation by the student, the school will deduct the cost of the workshop:
- 20% if cancellation is made up to 15 days before the start of the workshop
- 50% within 15 days of the workshop
The balance will be converted into a credit note. - If the trainee submits a medical certificate, the full amount paid will be converted into a credit note.
In the event of cancellation by Dance Area, the workshop will be reimbursed in full.
Each trainee must be personally insured. Dance Area cannot be held liable for any personal injury or material damage caused or suffered by a trainee. The management declines all responsibility in the event of loss or theft.
