CLASSICAL: Tights, leotard (or t-shirt for boys), half-pointes and bun for girls.
JAZZ, CONTEMPORARY, SINGING, EXPRESSIVE WORKSHOP: Leggings/shorts, t-shirt, socks.
STREET, HIP-HOP: Clean, non-marking sneakers.
Conditions
Registration is mandatory for the full week. The school reserves the right to cancel a course or modify the course schedule. Parental authorization is required. Missed courses are not refundable. Any course started is due in full. Unless a medical certificate is presented, in which case, missed courses will be postponed to another course.

Registrations are only made online: www.dancearea.ch and are processed in order of arrival and confirmed after receipt of payment of 50% of the amount of the course. The balance is to be paid at the latest 15 days before the start of the course. For pre-professional courses, students external to the school are requested to attach to the registration an identity photo as well as a photo in dance outfit.
For the payment of the deposit and the balance of the course, an invoice is sent to you by email. Without payment of the deposit, the registration will not be retained
As the number of students per class is limited, it is mandatory to choose your courses to register. Any change of course or level is only possible on the first day of the course depending on the places available. For the pre-professional course, teachers reserve the right to change the students’ course level. The school reserves the right to cancel a course or modify the course schedule.
Missed courses are not refundable. Any course started is due in full unless a medical certificate is presented, in which case, missed courses will be carried over to another course.
Unless otherwise stated, management reserves the right to use images photographed or filmed during training courses for its communications.
The reduced rate applies to:
- Dance Area students
- People from the same family
- Groups of students from a school registering for at least three classes per day (minimum 6 people to form a group, registrations must reach us together).
In case of cancellation by the trainee, the school will retain from the amount of the course:
- 20% if the cancellation is made up to 15 days before the start of the course
- 50% less than 15 days before the course
The balance will be transformed into a credit note. - Except upon presentation of a medical certificate, in which case, the entire amount paid will be transformed into a credit note.
In case of cancellation of the course by Dance Area, the course will be fully refunded.
Each trainee must be personally insured. Dance Area cannot be held liable for any bodily injury or material damage caused or suffered by a trainee. Management declines all liability in the event of loss or theft.
