Livia Massarelli is an independent dance artist and wellness coach based in London. Her practice, shaped by more than ten years of professional experience and academic research, integrates holistic approaches and dance to foster self-awareness and connection. Her research on dancers’ well-being has been published and informs her original methodology for training professional and pre-professional dancers. She has taught at institutions such as the Rambert School, the English National Ballet School, and Trinity Laban (London). As a choreographer, her work has been presented internationally in Europe and the United States—most recently at Jacob’s Pillow—and has previously been performed at venues such as The Place (London), La Maison de la Danse (Lyon), and Caos (Terni). She is also the rehearsal director and head of the educational program for the dance company Equilibrio Dinamico (Italy).
