Marc RIBAUD

Trained at the Academy of Danse Classique Princesse Grace “in Monaco, under the guidance of Marika Besobrasova, Marc Ribaud danced for the Ballet of the Opera of Bonn, Basel and Dusseldorf. In 1997, he was appointed Director of Dance of the Opera of Nice, a position he held for 9 years. There he made many pieces such as The Nutcracker, The poorly guarded daughter, Romeo and Juliet, Ravel’s Bolero, Cinderella… In 2008 he was appointed head of the Royal Swedish Ballet for three years and then became a teacher and independent choreographer, working regularly with many prestigious companies including the Stuttgart Ballet, the Netherlands Dans Theater, Royal Swedish Ballet, the Ballet Monte Carlo, the Norwegian National Ballet, the National Ballet of Finland among others.
