Nnamdi Nwagwu is an Afro-Italian choreographer and dancer, trained at Professione Danza Parma and Codarts University of Arts. He refined his studies at Alvin Ailey and Nederlands Dans Theater (NDT) and has won prestigious international awards. He has worked as a guest choreographer for companies such as Stuttgart Ballet, the National Ballet of Canada, and the Paris Opera Ballet. His work TITO premiered at Lincoln Center, New York. In 2025, he will create new works for Stuttgart Ballet and the Junior Company of Dutch National Ballet. Additionally, he works as a movement director with brands like Vogue and Calvin Klein and continues to be active internationally.
At the Biarritz competition, he presented *Le Prefiche*, which proved to be a particularly memorable finale. The piece leaves a lasting impression, both for its dramatic coherence and the maturity of its choreography.
In November 2026, he will create ‘Rituals’ for the Area Jeune Ballet de Genève.
