Ballet

After graduating from the National Ballet School of Havana in 1999, Liuva joined the Cuban National Ballet under the direction of Alicia Alonso as principal soloist. In 2006, she moved to Madrid to work with Tony Fabre and Goyo Montero as a principal dancer. In 2008, she joined the Compagnie National de Danse d’Espagne under the direction of Nacho Duato, where she took part in creations by Philippe Blanchard, Gustavo Ramirez, Alexander Ekman, Johan Inger, Jiri Kylian and Nacho Duato, among others. Since 2013, she has worked as a classical and contemporary dance teacher. Teaching at Dance Area since 2019.
