Waiting to Happen is a playful ode to youth, that fleeting moment when everything seems possible and nothing makes sense. It explores youth as a state of joyful confusion: vibrant, clumsy, and wonderfully imperfect. The work celebrates the absurd beauty of growing up: the joy, the awkwardness, the silent rebellions. Caught between innocence and irony, laughter and melancholy, playfulness and self-discovery. The work smiles at imperfection, a celebration of spontaneity, friendship, and the little absurdities that make life shine. Happiness here is fragile but intense, not a destination but a state of wonder, bright and brief, like a moving summer painting.
