Étienne FREY

Contemporary

Dancer, choreographer and founder of Sinopia Dance Ensemble, with which he travels the world during seventeen years. Gold medal holder from the International Choreography Contest of Serge Lifar in 1996, gold medal holder and Price of the City of Havana at the International Alicia Alonso contest in 1997, Price Lotus 1998 and Prix Nijinski of choreography in 2001. Etienne Frey created Bayadère, amongst others, for the Ballet of the Grand Théâtre de Genève in 1999, Zorba at Zurich’s Kongresshaus in 2001, Hasta la ternura siempre! for the Ballet Teatro del Espacio of Mexico City in 2005 and Le Songe d’une nuit d’été for the Ballet of the Opera of Bratislava. Teaches at Dance Area since 2004.
