Gérald DURAND

Gérald studied at the Paris Opera Ballet School before joining the Béjart Ballet Lausanne. He works in Italy with the Company Corte Sconta, in Portugal with the Gulbenkian Company and with Gumarang Satki Group in Indonesia. He then works for the Stadttheater Basel, Stadttheater Bern, Les Ballets de Monte Carlo as well as Linga Company until 2010. He works with Maurice Béjart, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Nils Christe, Stijn Celis Itzik Galili, Foowa of Imobilité, Jiri Kylian, John Chistophe Maillot Philippe Saire and many others. Dancer, performer and choreographer, he launched in 2013 with Dorota Lecka: Sundora & Dgendu, their choreographic project. He regularly gives choreographic workshops for professional dancers and actors. Teaches at Dance Area since 2011.
