Hélène ROUX

Co-ordinator and professor of Ballet for the Dance-Study, Pre-Professional and Advanced Programs

Trained by Rosella Hightower and José Ferran in Cannes, Hélène dances in New York in a Classical, Neoclassical and Contemporary repertory. She performs the great classics of the repertory as well as ballets by Frederick Ashton, Kenneth MacMillan and Peter Wright. At 18, she joins the company Dennis Wayne’s Dancers in which she will be dancer, rehearsal director and co-director. In 1989, on the proposal of Oscar Araiz, she enters the Grand Théâtre de Genève. She was invited throughout her career by many companies in the United States, Europe and Japan. Teaches at Dance Area since 1998.
