Yanouchka WENGER SABBATINI

Bilingual French-English actress and director, Yanouchka trained at the Cours Florent in Paris, then specialized in Shakespearean theater with Andrew Visnevski at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts (RADA) in London. She collaborates on the French, Swiss and English stages with important directors such as André Steiger, with whom she is trained in Brechtian acting, and the former director of the Geneva Comedy Richard Vachoux, she becomes the assistant of for ten years. Currently established in London, she has notably created and directed for the first time in the United Kingdom Médée Kali by Laurent Gaudé (Cockpit Theater), C’est égal by Agotha ​​Kristof (Drayton Arms Theater) and performed in bilingual Madame Géronte in Molière’s The Doctor in Spite of Himself as part of the Bastille Festival 2016. She was selected as a guest director at the 2018 Brighton Scratch Night Festival, where she staged Stone by Patch Harris. In 2019, she returned to the stage at the Brighton Fringe Festival.
